Colorado Collaborative for Healthy Soils

The Colorado Collaborative for Healthy Soils was a bottom-up and big-tent organization that brought the agricultural community together around soil health. Among other projects, CCHS created a framework for a Colorado-specific soil health test, conducted outreach and listening sessions, worked with CDA to launch the Colorado Soil Health Program, and developed a soil health bill that has was signed into law in June, 2021.

USDA Climate-Smart Commodities

We developed and wrote a USDA Climate-Smart Commodities grant on behalf of Colorado Department of Agriculture that was accepted in September, 2022. It will expand the STAR Plus program across Colorado; implement a regional research program; and make the STAR Rating System available across the region. See here for more information about all CSC projects and here for a presentation from Secretary Vilsack (STAR @ 14min).
